KYN61-40.5 armored withdrawable AC metal-enclosed switchgear is an indoor complete power distribution unit for three-phase AC 50 Hz systems with a rated voltage of 40.5 kV. It is used by power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises to receive and distribute electrical energy, providing control, protection, and monitoring functions for circuits. It is also suitable for locations requiring frequent operation.

The cabinet adopts an assembled structure, improving appearance quality and manufacturing precision. The busbars use heat-shrink insulating materials or epoxy coating for insulation, and the electrode shape is optimized. The cabinet has a compact structure and complete “five-prevention” functions. This switchgear complies with relevant standards such as GB 3096, GB/T 11022, IEC 60298, and DL/T 404.

The cabinet adopts an assembled structure, and the circuit breaker uses a floor-mounted truck structure.

Equipped with a new composite-insulation vacuum circuit breaker, offering good interchangeability and easy replacement.

The truck frame is fitted with a screw-nut propulsion mechanism, allowing easy truck movement and preventing damage to the propulsion structure caused by misoperation.

All operations can be performed with the cabinet door closed.

Interlocking among the main switch, truck, and switchgear door uses mandatory mechanical locking to meet the “five-prevention” requirements.

The cable compartment has ample space and can connect multiple cables.

The fast earthing switch is used for earthing and for closing short-circuit circuits.

The enclosure protection rating is IP3X, and the protection rating is IP2X when the truck compartment door is open.

The product complies with GB 3906-2006 and DL/T 404-2007, and refers to the international IEC 298 standard.

The switchgear adopts a fully metal-clad and fully enclosed structural design.

The switchgear interior is divided into four independent compartments: circuit breaker compartment, busbar compartment, cable compartment, and relay/instrument compartment. Each functional unit is separated by metal plates and provided with independent pressure relief channels and relief doors.

The cabinet body is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plate formed through precision sheet-metal processing, and assembled using high-strength bolts, nuts, and rivet nuts. Component surfaces are powder-coated or galvanized. ZN85A vacuum circuit breakers or SF6 circuit breakers can be configured to meet different user requirements.

The switchgear allows circuit breaker opening/closing, truck racking in/out, and earthing switch operation with the cabinet door closed.

The switchgear prevents circuit breaker misoperation, prevents the truck from being pushed in or pulled out under load, prevents energizing when the earthing switch is in the earthed position, and prevents accidental entry into energized compartments, satisfying the “five-prevention” design requirements.

Convenient observation windows on the door panel allow viewing of the circuit breaker open/closed status, truck position, spring charging status, and earthing switch open/closed status.

The switchgear truck has good interchangeability. Secondary wiring is arranged in spacious cable troughs, making it neat and easy to trace. Primary cable connection is convenient.

The enclosure protection rating is IP4X. Between compartments and when the circuit breaker door is open, the protection rating is IP2X. Installation and maintenance can be performed from the front or rear. The switchgear can be installed in face-to-face or back-to-back double-row arrangements, and can also be installed against a wall according to project requirements, saving floor space and improving switchgear safety and flexibility.
